You managed a third, you more than made back the cost of the token, and probably got more than you would have for winning another race. Remember, Pulpit lost to yours last time they raced together, but the time before that he placed above yours
Fair point Random and in that first race mine beat both the other two! Incidebtly your horse was only beaten just over 5 lengths in the second race not 8 lengths. Best to draw conclusions from accurate info Colin!
